Netflix has been using DRM for years, does it really make it worse?

Do you have a native and supported way to watch Netflix on Linux? No. So it does make the experience worse (it's one of the biggest missing components, not implying the only one).

You might want to try popcorn time. I have found the UI to actually exceed Netflix's while giving me pure piracy unencumbered by any DRM. I just read that they have added TV shows to the new version.

If the content industry is going to keep doing this shit, they don't deserve our money. Don't worry about the artists, if these are the people they have chosen to sign their lives away to.

How is this question symptomatic of anything but a tool fetish? Watch the movies, not the OS.

Give me the specs of the DRM system so that I can implement a tool for my OS to be able to watch the movies.

No. Any other demands, while you're at it?

That's one of the reasons I'm not using Netflix (and I'm not buying Blurays). Additionally both don't work under Linux.
