Sadly the recording is pay walled, so I can't comment on that - but my uncle always (+20 years ago) said that Greenland will become a higr fertile continent once the permafrost is gone due to global climate change. I wonder if that is part of the context, looking at the long game most US (and EU) big cities will become unlivable in the next 50-100 years if predictions hold up
