Merry XMAS! Slow simmer veg feast for tonite: spinach, lentils, rice. Turkey prepped for tomorrow. Presents wrapped. Lights finally hung last minute. And we are knee deep in the slime of an epic holiday themed dungeons and dragons campaign against The Gelatinous Cube guarding The Grail of Immortality. Best wishes to you and yours. And here's to a peaceful and prosperous New Year ;)
My local radio station is promoting the idea of keeping your christmas lights up and lit until March 3rd (a local reference) in order to show unity and togetherness. I don't think its anything amazing or impactful, but interesting nonetheless.
One year my family left our wreath up through Valentines Day and we got an anonymous letter from a "concerned" neighbor: "Spring has sprung! Please remove your wreath." Never found out who wrote it. We left the wreath up another month.
It's been a rough year for many and I feel lucky to have been in Taiwan for it. It's not a lot, but I decided to give away five copies of my programming ebook to the internet on Twitter.
Any other creators out there, I can say that it's a great feeling to do some random giving. I don't mean today specifically, but in general.
Stay healthy and may 2021 be a better year for all of us!
Wish 2021 will be better than 2020.
