One major nit-pick I have of cell phone cameras is that I have to interact with a touch screen to take a picture. A separate dedicated "function" button that could be optionally set to take pictures without unlocking the phone itself or fiddling with a touch screen would be amazing.

I hit the power button twice to activate the camera then hit the volume button to take the photo. That's the Pixel behavior anyways.
