Sorry to be crass. Djangy was a serious competitor and I have a lot of respect for what they've accomplished. However, life goes on for the users who were on Djangy and some of them are going to need an alternative.

If Djangy shuts down, their users have to go somewhere. I don't understand how this isn't relevant information to those users.

I don't see why it is disrespectful. Given the blog post itself enthusiastically recommended its competitors.
