I read the finer point of the argument to be that Docker got the layer of abstraction wrong for monetization. That Kubernetes (which orchestrates containers) is the tool at the layer of abstraction where a company could provide a product that has enterprise demand similar to Red Hat. And that Docker is a replaceable piece of technology in the market of managing cloud architecture.
