Will all open source software have to be submitted to some government run or approved certification? OpenWRT? Linux? Random App that accesses the net? Raspberry PI python script?
Sure it matters that 1 million IoT cameras are secure and can be updated but what about a million servers running some npm library? Do those need to be regulated too?
I'm very concerned about the security issues but I'm not looking forward to no longer being able to write software because I need it certified every time I add a line.
Are there other solutions that don't require regulation?
