If anything, self-hosted cloud software will continue to grow in popularity. It's cloud-based Saas companies that are more hype than substance (read Disrupted for an unsavory inside look).

Self-hosted cloud software will continue to grow in popularity though. Shameless plug alert: I recently released Wheatbin which is Open Source and 100% free: http://wheatbin.com. Github repo is here: https://github.com/wheatbin/wheatbin

Yeah, I was just thinking this - reading around it a little bit, it seems that it's the cloud aspect that's where the hesitancy is for a lot of players (correct me if I'm wrong). If BigCorp is always going to have some on-site IT/server resource, then surely the best middle ground is renting out the software, letting BigCorp store the data on their own servers, and then charging for training, backup and integrations?

Good point - this is exactly the market Sandstorm (https://sandstorm.io) is trying to reach as well. Will be interesting to see how cloud-within-the-enterprise will turn out.

Weird that you show a BlackBerry on the product page. It makes perceiving the software as very old.

I'm using my own software, which I'll be releasing as open source in the next few weeks. It's based on kanban methodology and the Law of the Harvest, so it takes a more holistic approach to work and life.

What Forbes did after it had readers turn off their ad blockers is still fresh in my mind: https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20160111/05574633295/forbe...

Not tarot but psychoanalytical in nature, I designed a deck of cards based on word association experiments by CG Jung. It uncovers unconscious fears, hidden agendas, guilt, unresolved personal issues and many other emotional-psychological disturbances below the surface of consciousness.

Very simple to do and takes under 20 minutes, it can be used alone or with another person.

The cards are available as a physical card deck: https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/critical-stimulus and printable PDF: https://gumroad.com/l/criticalstimulus

I purchased a year subscription with PureVPN using bitcoin: http://purevpn.com

I switched to RTM after Microsoft bought Wunderlist, and I'm satisfied with it. It doesn't allow file attachments, but there are workarounds. I do think $40 is a tad steep when compared to some of the other options out there.

Around 20 years ago three friends of mine had bad acid trips around the same time. One of them was rushed into emergency, strapped down on the stretcher. He was crying out for Jesus to save him (he was not religious). Since then he cannot hold down a thought, never mind a job. He lives with his parents.

My other two friends went high to a houseparty and committed suicide by shooting themselves in the head. It was all over the national news.

new account, no support for these claims. This is not what most people oberve with psychedelics

The double suicide happened about 1986-1988 in Brantford Ontario. The Toronto Sun called it a "Death Party". It made the front page. I searched but my Google fu has failed me (or the news was never archived online in the first place).

I'm not going to share the name of the other friend, for obvious privacy reasons.

OK fair enough, yet one example, and news media are the worst at accuracy about drugs.
