You don’t fine the phone company. You fine the Broadband.com and the Twilio.com of the world who enable robocalling.

Twilio has a market cap of ~$20B, which is largely fueled by them enabling robocallers to text/call people.

I agree with this. Broadband.com has been a thorn in my side for years now because of this crap. Every single one of the non-spoofed numbers I look up are owned by Broadband.com, and I'm pretty sure the spoofed are probably flowing through them, as well.

This is interesting. If US companies are originating the robocalls, fining them sounds like a great idea.
