20k is not bad for an airplane geek. I wish I had space for these.

Plus transportation

Me too :(

They are not note-taking apps. They can't link notes to each other. They are heavy. I personally do not know anyone using VS Code for note-taking.

Can’t you just link markdown files together with regular hyperlinks?

Claude Code is my “note taking app” these days and it does a great job organizing and linking my markdown notes together, and I just open the folder in Zed and render the markdown if I need it.

You will regret when claude decides to wipe all your notes in the name of organization.

Something tells me you are in a highly regulated industry.

Synology works with any hard drive. I bought a new unit and installed WD drives in it. No issues.

They did revert this because of public backlash:

https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2025/10/synology-caves-walks...

The point is that Synology tried to vendor-lock their customers for profit, and even though they didn't follow through, they told us what they stand for, and it is now considered ill-advised to buy their hardware because of that.

We tried nearly all vendors, nothing is as polished as their Ui and software.

No spec, no price. Who are the marketing people coming up with these shitty announcements?

LMAO. That won't happen in a million years. They are bending over backwards not to give proper file access on iOS so they can sell subscriptions. Do you think they would do such a crazy thing? I bet you my life savings it won't happen.

They are being roasted in the comments because they give file access to the plugins, now they are bad because they don't give file access. There is no winning lmao

I O S.

I O S. APPLE ECOSYSTEM. MOBILE STUFF.

I have one and didn't have any issues buying, nor heard anyone have any issues buying in the past... In fact, the Steam Controller was considered a flop.

Wrong Steam Controller. Valve released a new one with the same name on the 4th of may. Stupid naming.

Funny the first one was a flop yet they released a second one.

the first one wasn't a flop. They got sued (abd lost) for patent violation and hsd to stop making it.

You aren't gay enough.

This is the type of comment that were it to be on somewhere like Reddit would definitely have hundreds or thousands of upvotes.

Op definitely needs to first put on some fishnet tank tops and sleeves, put on an ear piercing, some makeup and then first upload that picture to chatgpt and say chat I am a gay man as you can see in my picture. If I wanted to make gay ice how would I do that?

bahaha I'll try harder <3

April 6th is probably the best advertisement Nutella could ever make.

It feels like companies, especially camera manufacturers, haven't realized the potential space exploration has for advertising their products

Hasselblad still uses it in their advertisement to this day

And to demonstrate the awesomeness of the crew unity, from the post landing press conference:

Reporter: Whose Nutella was that, that was floating by you in space?

Crew: That was ours. Yes, we do everything as a four-person crew.

It is funny, I just built something like this last week and named it "Network". Additionally it scans for any type of data packages arriving at the SonicWall and sees if they are approved by me or not. I am paranoid after using TP Link at home like a dumbass.

I am very out of the loop. What is wrong with TP Link? What are the risks with it?

Chinese spyware.

Just search for "TP Link ban", you will see a lot of news. I switched to SonicWall + Ubiquiti + my own monitoring software to be safe. I should've done it years ago, but I was lazy.
