if you're looking for a less expensive option - check out Blook.io - we help global founders register their businesses in the US and provide a free EIN/bank account :)

You have an asterisk next to the bank account and yet you provide no details on the website. I'd say most people are doing this mainly for the bank account (and payment processing). So you might want to expand on that in the website to avoid me sending you an email to ask about it.

FWIW, I found the asterisk reference here: https://www.blook.io/pricing

> *We are not responsible for the bank account approval. We facilitate and expedite the process as partners for our clients. Mercury works with FDIC-insured banks, including BBVA Compass, Member FDIC, and Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC, to store your deposits.

But I agree with you, I should not have had to go digging to find it on an arbitrary page hidden under yet another "click here to expand" block.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Can you provide a granular breakdown of why I would pick this vs Stripe atlas?

Hi Everyone!

We make it as simple as possible for global entrepreneurs to register their businesses in the U.S. We also get them up an running with EINs (US Tax IDs) and a Business Banking account!

non-paywall link anyone?

Hey tried editing the roadmap on Chrome and didn't work.

Hi Everyone!

I founded Blook after working with a few other indiehackers and tech entrepreneurs :) (Shout out to indiehackers.com)!

We help global entrepreneurs register their company in the US. In our package we include:

-Company Formation (In multiple states) -1st Year Registered Agent -Operating Agreement / Bylaws Template -US Federal EIN -US Business bank account -Lifetime customer service and chat support :)

Asides from the Stripe Atlas SSN incident, one good alternative is Blook. https://blook.io/stripe-atlas-alternative

That’s definitely competitive in pricing. Thanks for the mention.

I'm curious to know more about "-Special Offers from our partners" that comes in the package. Do you have any idea on it. Couldn't find details on it.

Edit: contacted support on chat, offers are for tax filings and maintenance fees. No cloud /partnered credits

I haven't used Stripe Atlas personally, but I did see this the other day...https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=21952809

One other thing to note is that besides the initial $500 setup fee, they additionally require you to pay $100 a year + $25 a month for bank account maintenance with SVB.

A few other key differences can be found here (side note I own Blook :P) https://blook.io/stripe-atlas-alternative

Thanks for doing this, was actually looking to use Stripe Atlas for my side project but I'll support a fellow founder!

Being $400+ less expensive with more options also helps lol

If anyone needs a Stripe Atlas alternative that doesn't require SSN and also less expensive ($350 vs Stripes $500 + $400/yr) check out https://www.blook.io/stripe-atlas-alternative

Thanks for this I was looking into setting up an LLC this year. I’ll check them out!

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday was our official go-live for Blook (https://blook.io)!

After working on the product and iterating from customer feedback, finally happy to say we're out there and ready to help global entrepreneurs register their business in the U.S. (LLC or C-Corp).

Blook is a company dedicated to offering Domestic and International tech entrepreneurs a quick and easy way to setup their company in the U.S.

Our setup process takes less than 5 minutes (and you can do it from your phone!) and provides us with everything we need to get to work establishing your new company in the U.S. so you can focus on building your business.

I'd love any feedback or recommendations! :) Have a great day and new years everyone!

It would be great if you can integrate features of clerky with international tax law/accounting advicr. US tax laws are notoriously complex. You won't be able to differentiate from e.g. Stripe Atlas with just the current set of features alone.

Blook (https://blook.io): Helping US and Foreign entrepreneurs register their company in the US as an LLC or C-Corp. Go-live will be on the first :) Particularly looking to work with the latin america market.

Looks great. Wish you all the best for the go live. We are in the same business. I do this for Germany with firma.de. Trying my best to increase the amount of entrepreneurs here.

If you ever want to talk about bundling other service offerings into the company formation offering let me know. We had our fair share of learnings there :)

I'll definitely take you up on that offer. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!
