When I go to the adobe website and try to login, it tells me that I need to reset my password. Well that's great but it tells me this no matter what password I enter. Last time I logged into the adobe website was probably a year ago so I have absolutely no idea what services I need to change my password for so I need to change them all. Thanks Adobe!
No but would it be reasonable to be fired from a job if one was causing inconvenience to their higher-ups elsewhere so much that they didn't want to work with you? Probably.
Edit: not saying I think you should have been banned for this because frankly, I think you were right to begin with, just pointing out that your legality comparisons are not always reasonable.
You saying they never show up as if it's directly related to your challenge rather than the fact that they probably have a billion things they'd rather be doing than going to a conference and getting in an argument is pretty laughable.
No comment on the rest, except to say that thinking you could have someone kicked out of a conference for their tone is a bit funny. Felipe is abrasive (though not incorrect, in my view) and not someone I would like to work with but you are not winning any friends for yourself or the project with your attitude.
Whilst I know the point of this article isn't to say Ireland has terrible road systems compared to the US, I found it amusing that coming from Ireland to the US for a brief trip, I felt the systems there were absolutely crazy.
Now, clearly neither country is perfect, nor are they flawless but the interesting takehome is when put in a pressured situation, how important it is to reduce the cognitive load so you can focus on what's really important e.g. I need to stop or, do I turn here?
How about whenever you try to take money out? How can you get money out without it coming to an account that is associated with you? Can't the coins be tracked from the illicit purchase to this point?
A site such as bitcoin-24.com allows you to create an account with no personal identification. It also allows you to send cash money (converted from bitcoin, usually) to an address.
And if you want to avoid the address issue, you can (currently) use one of the many 'exchanges' at localbitcoins.com and pick it up personally. Hell, if that's too dangerous you can probably get a minion to do it for you.
If the government ever cracks down on this kind of stuff, for example by making it harder to be a local trader at localbitcoins.com, then I have no doubt that a small industry of 'illegal traders' will appear, or methods of laundering the money.
I'm not sure whether you mean mainland Europe but in the UK, it is not necessary to have a masters degree to do a PhD. It is probably advisable but not a prerequisite.
Like you however, after I did my masters and spent 6 months on my own research project, I realised that a PhD would not be for me and went into industry.
I'm British and I have never heard anyone call the Channel the Atlantic. I'm not saying your generalisation is wrong (there does seem to be a very us|them mentality here) but just thought it was worth a note - in fact, we call the tunnel, The Channel Tunnel.
